Local educator, advocate and inspirational author, Curtis Black of Baltimore, Maryland, has dedicated his life to understanding, helping and educating others. He received his Masters of Education degree in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling in 2008. He has served as a long-time advocate, community volunteer, and educator serving as an inspiration to others by giving back to communities throughout Baltimore City. He founded, “Angels Helping Angels”, a non-profit organization with a mission of eliminating hunger, homelessness and poverty throughout Maryland. For many years, he has been an advocate for adults and youth with disabilities, aiming to improve the quality of life for thousands. He has committed his life to building strong relationships and educating others on misconceptions that can perpetuate inappropriate interactions.
